Greg Chalmers to play ISPS HANDA Perth International

West Australian Greg Chalmers, the reigning Australian Open and Australian PGA Champion, has confirmed his participation in the inaugural ISPS HANDA PerthInternational at Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 18-21 October.

Chalmers, the leading money winner on the 2011 PGA Tour of Australasia, has enjoyed astrong year on the PGA TOUR and currently sits 57 on the Official World GolfRankings.

“Greg has been a wonderful supporter of Australian golf throughout his career and we are absolutely delighted to welcome him to Lake Karrinyup Country Club nextweek,”  David Rollo, Vice President-Director of Golf of IMG Australia said today.

The International Sports Promotion Society, ISPS, is the title sponsor of the inaugural event.

The ISPS HANDA Perth International is co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour and with prize money of US$2,000,000 it is the richest tournament in Australia.  It is also the only event in Australia co-sanctioned with the European Tour and will be broadcasted globally via European Tour Television for over 800 hours showcasing Perth and Western Australia to 400 million homes in 67 countries.
